VideoTech Innovation Awards 2021: SoftAtHome Shortlisted Twice in the Super Aggregator and the Next Gen Advertising Categories

PARIS, France – October 21st, 2021 – SoftAtHome, an independent software company for broadband, video, and analytics, is proud to have been selected for the VideoTech Innovation awards in the new Super Aggregator award category for its ImpressioTV Platform as a service UI and in the Next Gen Advertising (supply side) award category for its VASP.TargetedAds solution.

ImpressioTV Platform as a service UI for the Super Aggregator Award

When operators want to deploy a service in several territories, they are confronted with a variety of broadband networks, whether ADSL, Fiber or 4G TDD. With Impressio TV Platform as a service UI, SoftAtHome enables operators to become super-aggregators of services and content in a multiscreen environment. Its modern UI is customer centric, the end-user can customize it himself, selecting services and apps he would like to see first.

Compatible with Tizen, WebOS, AndroidTV, RDK-V or Linux OS with a unified player to adapt to OS specificities, Impressio TV delivers services on tablets, smartphones, smartTVs, HDMI dongles or set-top boxes. The solution is based on a cloud platform, VASP, which offers several services such as unified search, targeted advertising, an app store or voice control. The cloud platform eases the deployment of new services in a multi-screen environment.

SoftAtHome’s VASP.TargetedAds for the Next Gen Advertising Award

This solution has successfully contributed to the new Addressable TV offering launched end of 2020 by Orange France in partnering with the main French broadcasters. Beyond linear TV, this solution targets ads on multiscreen and linear and non-linear (Replay, nPVR, VOD or catchup TV) content. Relying on multi awarded multiscreen player, SoftAtHome delivers a frame accurate ad replacement for a transparent experience for end users. SoftAtHome video player is compatible with Linux, RDK-V and AndroidTV OS and complement VASP.TargetedAds offer. Furthermore, the live video editing is carried out within the set-top box and does not need complex backend infrastructure to be deployed by content providers. VASP.TargetedAds is compatible with SNPTV French standardization as well as DVB.TA new standard to facilitate worldwide deployment.

The winners will be celebrated at Church House Westminster in London on Thursday 25 November 2021.
