PARIS, France – October 8th, 2021 – SoftAtHome (stand #C9, RAI Amsterdam), an independent software company for broadband, video, and analytics, will exhibit at this year’s Broadband World Forum taking place at the RAI in Amsterdam, from October 13th till October 14th, and virtually, from October 11th until 15th, 2021.

SoftAtHome’s focus for this year’s Broadband World Forum will be on how operators can improve their digital experience management (with the help of service and device identification powered by Machine Learning technologies) while also providing network security. The show will provide the opportunity for SoftAtHome to showcase its open-source support of the prpl Foundation. SoftAtHome is supporting the prpl Foundation by playing the role of primary code developer and code maintainer for prplWare, the first carrier-grade Open Source stack for Broadband and CPE.

  • prplWare: prplOS & LCM preview: SoftAtHome will demonstrate a preview of the imminent major prplOS release announced by prpl Foundation. SoftAtHome will also demo an End-to-End Application for Life Cycle Management based on prpl’s specifications. Choose, install, run, stop, and uninstall apps like on a mobile phone with guaranteed security. Each operator will adapt the solutions to create their own stores and procedures around them. It opens operators CPEs to the world of applications.
  • Secure’ON & MyDigitalExperience App: SoftAtHome’s home LAN Mobile Application has been complemented with security features powered by Secure’ON, SoftAtHome’s security product that detects and blocks cyberattacks, provides parental control, and guarantees privacy. MyDigitalExperience enables the user to take control of the home LAN with surfing times for kids, optimisation of repeater installation, troubleshooting and recommendations to improve Experience, enhance security, for example, by allowing specific devices and blocking others.
  • Service Identification & QoS booster: SoftAtHome Service Identification enabler allows for the identification of the services running in the home. These can be correlated with the precise identification of the device model running them and the proper Quality of Service can be allocated accordingly. This feature allows the operator or the user to give priority to Work Form Home or gaming services.
  • Eyes’ON Devices Dashboard: Eyes’ON provides a Device Dashboard for the operator, identifying trends in connected devices enriched with connectivity insights. From a marketing perspective, the operator could, for example, realize that online gaming consoles are becoming widely spread in a specific area and initiate an appropriate campaign offering optimized service for gamers.

Private demos are available on our stand #C9 at the 2021 Broadband World Forum in Amsterdam. All of SoftAtHome’s innovations are also available by booking a virtual meeting  with our experts.

Come and interact with David Viret-Lange, CEO of SoftAtHome, in the Connected Life Summit theatre, October 13that 4:20 pm.
