SoftAtHome and Orange Win the Silver User Experience Award at the 2017 Connies

The multi-awarded technology, TVLights, designed thanks to the partnership between Orange and Philips Lighting and enabled by SoftAtHome software, allows users to enjoy a breakthrough immersive experience in the living room.
TVlights drives connected lights in real-time according to the content watched on TV, thanks to the algorithm developed and directly embedded into the set-top box. The algorithm computes in real time all the colours displayed on every section of the TV screen. It then controls the lights according to their position in the room, to the rhythm, and the colour flow of the content watched on TV. It brings a new level of excitement and immersion, transforming the visual experience like 5.1 surround sound transformed the TV audio experience a few years back.
