Connections Europe 2016: SoftAtHome chooses Sigma’s Z-Wave for Faster Secured Smart IoT Deployments

Fremont, CA and Colombes, France – 1 November 2016 – Sigma Designs® (NASDAQ: SIGM), a leading provider of Smart TV platforms and IoT devices, and SoftAtHome, a software provider for operator CPE devices enabling convergent services for the digital home, announce their joint effort to create one of the most advanced Smart Home  IoT integrated gateway solutions on the market using Z-Wave technology.

With a simple software upgrade, this extended collaboration between the two companies will bring easy integration of smart home and convergent IoT services and target initially two types of smart home deployments (1) chipsets within new boxes and (2) Z-Wave dongles added to installed boxes.
