Broadband World Forum 2015: SoftAtHome Shows How to Unite Entertainment with Internet of Things for Future Digital Home

SoftAtHome supports Internet of Things, next-generation access networks and advanced media services to deliver joined up user experiences for the digital home

Broadband World Forum 2015, London, UK – October 15, 2015 – SoftAtHome (Stand C70), a provider of home operating platforms enabling convergent services for the digital home, will be at Broadband World Forum this year to show its latest innovative solutions for the Digital Home, all based on its latest SOP7 release, bringing together Quadruple Play and emerging applications around the Internet of Things and Media aggregation.

The Smart Home is a challenging but promising field for broadband operators, taking them beyond their traditional markets in Internet access and pay TV to embrace new services such as home security, environmental monitoring and personal data management.

At Broadband World Forum 2015, SoftAtHome will be demonstrating CloudAtHome IoT which provides a powerful Smart Home solution gathering telephony, television, media and IoT worlds. This solution leverages the intelligent behaviour of connected objects to make the end-user house more comfortable while controlling and optimizing the home environment and energy consumption in a converged mode.

SoftAtHome will also showcase CloudAtHome MediaCloud, the first plug and play NAS package designed specifically for operators, allowing subscribers automatically to secure their media content from all connected devices transparently and consume it on any screen including TV set, which remains a central point at home. CloudAtHome IoT and CloudAtHome MediaCloud can both be easily integrated to an existing ecosystem.

Moreover, with ConnectAtHome, its Home Gateway software solution, SoftAtHome will demonstrate the more reliable and high-performance software platform supporting any hybrid combination of access technologies on the same box: ADSL2, VDSL2, G.Fast, fibre or 3G/4G.

Last but not least, with the increasing number of devices connected in the home, SoftAtHome provides a robust LAN management with guaranteed Quality of Service enabling and securing an optimised home environment.

Come to see our latest innovations at ExCel London during Broadband World Forum, stand C70. We also invite you to listen to a panel discussion with Wojtek Makowski, CTO of SoftAtHome  – Day one of the Broadband World Forum at 15.40 – Open Source, Collaborating to Accelerate Real, Deployable Virtualization Solutions
