IBC 2015: SoftAtHome and Infomir Partner for Advanced 4K Immersive Experience

 IBC 2015, Amsterdam – September 11, 2015 – SoftAtHome, a provider of home operating platforms enabling convergent services for the digital home, and Infomir an experienced manufacturer for interactive television services, announced today their partnership enabling operators to deliver advanced 4K immersive experience. SoftAtHome and Infomir have collaborated to integrate SoftAtHome latest generation of software, SOP7, within Infomir’s set-top box equipped with Broadcom’s ultra-powerful 7252S chipset.

This partnership enables the creation of cost-optimized solutions for delivering 4K content in the digital home and enriching operators’ offerings beyond traditional Pay-TV services. It will also allow Ultra High Definition content streaming over broadband and other high-speed connections.
